I will provide commentary on political news and events of the day as frequently as my time allows. Please feel free to comment on any of the posts. I will be glad to have a discussion should you agree or disagree.
There is no rhyme or reason to which subjects I cover and when. As I find information or a link that strikes me as something I would have liked brought to my attention, I will gladly pass it on to yours through this site.
I go by “Tickler” for literal, literary, and local reasons:
The literal has me bringing honest commentary and occasional entertainment to those who enjoy the plain truth, and conversely, annoyance and frustration to those who don’t, those who’ve inherited or remain on the oblivious Left.
The literary reference relates to Mrs. Joe’s stick in Great Expectations that repeatedly tanned poor Pip’s hide. It represents my desire to unload written punishment on those who wish America ill or idly stand by instead of taking a stand on the right side of big picture logic.
The local reason relates to my precarious position as quite possibly the only conservative employee of a very liberal media company, and I want to remain here carefully observing the bias they only outwardly claim to not exist.
