Since the gay movement clearly doesn’t understand the motivations of the opposition, and denies their own motivation outlined above, let me provide some insight. To religious people, the gay movement is no longer about the rights of gays to being a protected class, it has become a war to remove the rights of others (particularly the religious, who, being morally anchored, are a permanent threat to the movement) to see homosexuality as an unhealthy lifestyle and bad for society. It is an attempt to BULLY and control the collective mind and reduce liberty. It’s an attempt to socialize and legislate the kind of intolerance that gays despise when it’s used against them, but embrace fully when it serves them. That’s some dark and hateful stuff. Funny how intolerance is thoroughly one-sided and entirely selfish in what has become a very greedy and control-hungry gay movement. It’s an immature and insecure overcorrection that has nudged a lot of religious and conservative people awake who were safely uninvolved before, and now the growing power of AFA and others are the result. That’s what we assume is the substance of the war, but another more superficial layer is also worth considering; does the gay movement feel so insecure in their lifestyle and choices that they need the approval and endorsement of the religious right to feel legitimate? Otherwise, wouldn’t sponsoring pride parades for K-12 recruits be enough?
There’s a pattern to this bullying by the gay movement. Two good examples come to mind.
The first is in the gay “marriage” state and national movement. Every state that has voted on gay marriage has overwhelmingly voted against it. These aren’t gay-friendly polls with 25% margins of error, or hand-picked samples, these are strong majorities of real voters, enacting real laws in 29+ states. 41 states outlaw it, including California, Hawaii, and Maine. Only through partisan legislative maneuvers and judicial activism has it been made legal in other jurisdictions. Not by the people, but by manipulation and bullying. It’s a larger scale version of this “Bullying” war. The people of the United States clearly and popularly don’t equate homosexuality with the biologically normal heterosexuality, but through courts and law manipulations, and carefully slanted press collaboration, the gay movement and its surrogates have been trying to BULLY everyone else to accept and legitimize their lifestyle, with no room for disagreement, and no consideration for the consequences to society (which are unanimously against such acceptance, which is also fueling people to vote against it). We probably don’t have to point out how bigoted and hateful that makes the gay movement. It is, ironically, the very definition of bullying. Pure intolerance.
The second is in the infamous American Psychiatric Association caper of 1973. There are so many ins and outs that a short summary is warranted. The gay movement, realizing that to ever hope to become legitimate in any way, and before organizing a full-scale campaign on the public, would need to have homosexuality removed from the list of mental disorders, a list which it had been on since the first edition. In 1973, after years of vigorous and desperate petitioning, begging, and legal shenanigans exclusively by the fledgling gay-rights movement, Homosexuality was removed from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders. Just to shut them up? Perhaps. We gain insight with the board’s stated reasoning at the time of the decision, that it was made due to “review of evidence[,]…changing social norms, and growing gay-rights activism.” Their ‘review of evidence’ consisted of subjective and non-clinical review. The real reasons? Well, they were so overwhelming that they made it into the public statement above. Entirely self-serving gay activists BULLIED them into it, against the evidence. What evidence? Clinically, all evidence on homosexuality continues to indicate one of three causes: environmental abuse/conditions, hormonal birth defect, or choice. Trying to justify homosexuality as perfectly normal biology simply BULLIES into silence researchers who might help us to understand the roots and causes so that we can help those with environmental factors who are abused or confused find a way to deal with their struggles in a healthy and beneficial way. The gay movement would rather have an environmentally homosexual (abused) boy or girl continue depressed and spiraling down in ‘the life’, even though it is a product of abuse, than to see him or her get the help they need to lead a fulfilling life, if it means the movement has to admit that homosexuality is often caused by environmental trauma and reinforced by a desire for love and validation in proxies or anti-proxies of the abuser.
