The liberal bias of the mainstream media tilts so far left that any outlets not in that political lane, like the Drudge Report and Fox News Channel, look far more conservative than they really are, according to a UCLA professors new book out next month.

In a crushing body blow to the pushers of the so-called “Fox Effect,” which claims the conservative media is dragging the left into the center, UCLA political science professor Tim Groseclose in Left Turn claims that “all” mainstream news outlets have a liberal bias in their reporting that makes even moderate organizations appear out of the mainstream and decidedly right-wing to news consumers who are influenced by the slant.

So let’s try this on for size: What if the Republican candidates got together and, all egos aside, decided to unify and create a collective force that could annihilate the Obama machine because they would offer a team (Cabinet) of experts and leaders? They purport to be able to be the leaders of our divided political landscape; let’s see whether they have the leadership to rally us together before they are elected. If they were willing to serve in a presidential Cabinet rather than in the supreme position, that sure would show their willingness to serve our country.

“The Little Black Book – Queer in the 21st Century”

Is this the future?  This booklet was distributed to hundreds of kids (middle school age and up) at Brookline High School, Brookline, MA, on April 30, 2005. It was written by the Boston-based AIDS Action Committee, with help with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and the Boston Public Health Commission.

The event that day was designed for children and their teachers across Massachusetts, organized by the “Gay Lesbian and Straight Education Network” (GLSEN).  This is the group that runs “Gay-Straight Alliance” clubs in public schools across the country. You must ask yourself: What kind of person would write this? What kind of person would give it to kids? Where is this movement headed?
